lately through the linz...

It's been about 3 months since I have shared an IPhone photo update!
Here is what's been happening "lately through the linz" - restaurant addition:

Their summer libations list is amazing! Go get a Pimms cup. You won't regret it.

Let's be honest, I'm not really a chain restaurant kinda gal, but Copeland's butter biscuits stand alone.

All the toppings choices are nice, but I'd prefer a humphrey with fruit, granola, and honey.

Turkey Melt and a Humphrey Yogart will lift your spirits every time. Why choose any other yogurt place?

Arguably the best burger in town, though there's no contest that it IS the best bread in town.

Fried pickle spears, beef quesadillas, and a burger on Texas toast? How could this be bad?

Unless you have been living under a rock, you have had (and been drunk on) a Superior Margarita. This place is always a good time, I just wish you didn't smell literally like grill when you left.

A little rough around the edges, however their chopped beef sandwich was as good as it was messy. (and it was really messy)

I prefer Ichiban or Tokyo personally, but the Monkey Brain's appetizer was something I will want again.

The turkey burger is Amaaah-zing!

I can't believe I am admitting that I like bone-in buffalo wings from Wingstop, but what can I say? Delish.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. Period.

Sunday Funday

Hey there. How was your weekend? Per usual I am sitting on the couch wondering how the weekend went by so fast. It can't possibly be over already! I did a couple of fun things with a couple of fun people.
This is a quick snapshot of what I have been up to the last couple of days.

Farmer's Market
Chessi and I went downtown on Saturday morning to the local farmer's market. It was great to see so many people out so early in the morning! (We had to stop at starbucks before hand just to get going) I left with some goat's milk and feta cheese made by a husband and wife from Moreauville, LA.

Rollin' in the Dough
Right after we arrived, it started raining cats and dogs! Good thing they make these burgers to order so by the time we finished our delicious homemade buns the rain had stopped. Gotta love these random summer storms! My slicker is staying in my car from now on.

Kickball Game Turned to Child's Play

It was too stinkin' hot for our regular kickball game- so after an attempt to kick the ball around we went to the fountains on the river front. To be honest, I was not expecting this to be as fun as it turned out to be. Although we scared off the children, we stayed and played in the water for a good hour!
